Sun Fire X4200 M2 server is the fastest, energy-efficient, and reliable one-way to four-way x64 2 RU
rack server available. Powered by one or two dual-core or single-core AMD Opteron processors, this compact
power-saver also runs Solaris OS, Linux, and Windows.
The intent of the power calculator is to provide guidance for
estimating the electrical and heat loads per server for racking and
facilities planning. The power results below represent sustained total
server power for room temperatures below 25 degrees C. The results from
the Calculator below assume PowerNow! is enabled. CPU Utilization of 0%
refers to OS Idle and 100% refers to maximum known stress. System powers
can vary depending upon HW/SW configurations and environmental
conditions. For precise results, actual measurements based on the exact
HW/SW/environmental conditions are recommended.
