High Reliabilty: SPARC64 processors have Error
Correcting/Correction Code (ECC) protection on all cache levels to
reduce the possibility of processor failure. An independent processor
provides monitoring, instant detection, and accurate notification of
any system failure.
High Performance: The new 64-bit RISC SPARC64 GP
processor completely conforms to the SPARC International V9
architecture standard and provides excellent transaction performance by
parallel instruction processing.
Manageability: It also features redundant and hot
swappable components such as disks, power supplies, and fans. In
addition, the system can dynamically manage and isolate CPU, memory,
and I/O bus failures, allowing service continuation in a reduced
configuration.
Rackmount configuration: Up to two of these servers
can be installed in a single 19-inch rack providing excellent space
savings and configuration management.
