- High Reliabilty: SPARC64 processors have Error
Correcting/Correction Code (ECC) protection on all cache levels to
reduce the possibility of processor failure. An independent processor
provides monitoring, instant detection, and accurate notification of
any system failure.
- High Performance: The new 64-bit RISC SPARC64 GP
processor completely conforms to the SPARC International V9
architecture standard and provides excellent transaction performance by
parallel instruction processing.
- Manageability: It also features redundant and hot
swappable components such as disks, power supplies, and fans. In
addition, the system can dynamically manage and isolate CPU, memory,
and I/O bus failures, allowing service continuation in a reduced
configuration.
- Rackmount configuration: Up to two of these servers
can be installed in a single 19-inch rack providing excellent space
savings and configuration management.
