The Sun SPARC Enterprise M8000 server is not our largest system, but it packs up to 16 SPARC64 VII quad-core running at 2.88GHz or 16 SPARC64 VI dual-core processors running at 2.28GHz to 2.4GHz. Of course, it runs the Solaris 10 OS, which means you can migrate any of your Solaris applications. If you're an open systems customer in need of more power, your solution has arrived and now you can experience of the power and performance of the new SPARC64 VII quad-core processor for the price of the SPARC64 VI dual-core.
