The Sun SPARC Enterprise M9000 server can be configured with up to 32 or 64 SPARC64 VII quad-core running at 2.52GHz to 2.88GHz or SPARC64 VI dual-core processors running at 2.28GHz to 2.4GHz. Of course, it runs the Solaris 10 OS, which ensures full compatibility with your existing applications running on earlier versions of Solaris OS. And, now you can experience the performance boost of the new SPARC64 VII quad-core processor for the price of the SPARC64 VI dual-core processor.
