Sun HPC Software, Linux Edition 1.0
This integrated, open-source software solution simplifies the deployment of HPC clusters by providing a ready-made framework of software components to use to turn a bare-metal system into a running HPC cluster. An extensive verification suite provides tools to verify interoperability of software and hardware and help ensure a stable environment.

Sun Grid Engine 6.2
The recognized industry leader in compute workload management, Sun Grid Engine provides policy-based workload management and dynamic provisioning of application workloads. Planned for release in August 2008, Sun Grid Engine 6.2 features enhanced scalability, new multi-clustering resource management, advance reservation and new subscription offerings. Multi-platform support includes the Solaris OS, Linux, Windows and Mac OS.

Sun xVM Ops Center
Sun xVM Ops Center is part of the Sun xVM family, which is Sun's approach to simplifying and optimizing very large scale datacenter operations with products and technologies that address both the virtualization of individual servers as well as management of large groups of mission-critical physical systems. It is a complete, highly scalable datacenter automation platform designed to scale for demanding HPC environments as well as distributed global IT environments to manage dense physical server farms and large virtual server pools.

Built-in to xVM Ops Center is an easy-to-use interface with simplified workflows and powerful grouping mechanisms to discover, bare-metal provision, update and monitor hundreds of simultaneous operations at a time for thousands of systems. The xVM Ops Center management platform supports a multitude of RedHat and SuSE Linux variants along with Solaris in one single unified solution so operators can quickly provision, update and monitor different OS environments using one system.

Solaris HPC Developer Preview
Solaris HPC Developer Preview enables developers to quickly install a complete set of HPC development tools on an existing system running the Solaris 10 OS or OpenSolaris. This software integrates Sun HPC ClusterTools, Sun Grid Engine and Sun Studio. It offers rapid development and optimization of HPC applications and seamlessly allows the software to be deployed in a parallel environment.

Sun HPC ClusterTools 8.0
This integrated toolkit allows developers to create and tune Message-passing Interface (MPI) applications that run on high performance clusters and SMPs. Sun HPC ClusterTools supports both the Solaris OS and Linux and features enhanced parallel application performance analysis and optimization as well as VampirTrace and MPI PERUSE capabilities.

Sun Studio 12
Sun Studio 12 software is available on the Solaris OS and Linux and delivers outstanding performance for single and multithreaded application development. With it's optimizing C, C++ and Fortran compilers, the world-class, Netbeans-based IDE, autoparallelization, thread analyzer, thread-aware debugger and performance analysis tools, developers can more easily migrate and optimize their applications.

Sun StorageTek QFS shared file system software
Sun StorageTek QFS software delivers significant scalability, data management, and throughput for the most data-intensive applications. This fully clustered SAN aware file system lets multiple file servers access the same data at the same time providing great scalability and increased bandwidth.

Lustre File System
Lustre File System is open sourced and allows easy aggregation of tens of thousands of cluster nodes  and petabytes of storage into one file system. Lustre File System can achieve >90%  of raw I/O bandwidth and can help customers save at least 20% in  hardware costs while achieving the same I/O goal.
