The Solaris 8 Containers or Solaris 9 Containers software and services accelerate the migration of application environments currently using Solaris 8 or Solaris 9 to new systems running Solaris 10. These new tools allow you to capture the entire environment of the Solaris 8 or Solaris 9 source system and then transfer this environment to the target Solaris 10 system without application modification or emulation. Solaris 8 and Solaris 9 Containers software is available as free download.
