    • The Sun Fire E2900 server, equipped with 12x UltraSPARC IV+ 1.5GHz processors achieved an overall World Record result in the Lotus Domino R6iNotes benchmark, with 34000 users, producing the highest number of NotesMark transactions/min (28268 N-Mark). The NotesBench R6iNotes result produced on the Sun Fire E2900 server beats the previous record, held by the IBM P5 570-0926 server, with 19% more users and a price per user about half of the IBM server price per user. This benchmark simulates active users accessing their Domino R6iNotes mailfiles via standard Web browser. The R6iNotes workload is HTTP-based and uses the Lotus Domino Mail server. R6iNotes is heavier than NRPC based R6mail, with larger mailfile sizes using the MIME format. [3]
