    • The Sun Fire E6900 server with 16 1.95GHz US-IV+ processors achieved 354,733 SPECjbb2005 bops, 22,171 SPECjbb2005 bops/JVM on the SPECjbb2005 benchmark. This beats the published 16-core IBM P5 570 with 2.2 GHz POWER5+ processors results of 326,651 SPECjbb2005 bops, 20,415 SPECjbb2005 bops/JVM by 9%. The SPECjbb2005 benchmark provides an enhanced workload that is implemented to reflect how real-world applications are actually designed and perform, demonstrating the power of integrated elements of the Sun Fire E6900 server, the Solaris 10 Operating System and the 1.6.0 version of the Java HotSpot 32-Bit Server Virtual Machine.
