Servers
Remote System Control provides remote management and administration

internal environmental monitoring (e.g. CPUs, disks, fans, power
supplies).
- Remote power on, power off and reset.

RSC provides both a graphical user interface (GUI) and a command-line

RSC Software Installation and Configuration
The RSC software is provided with the Software Supplement for the
Solaris
8 and Solaris 9 Operating Environment CDs. The software can also be
found at the Sun
Download Center. For assistance with the RSC software download,
read
our Installation
and Configuration
Information.
It is always important to check for the latest RSC patches at SunSolve.
In some cases using RSC without installing a patch may, in very rare
circumstances,
cause a problem that makes RSC unusable. The RSC user manual with
configuration
instructions can be found at docs.sun.com.
