The Sun Fire X2270 server can accommodate up to four 3.5-inch SATA drives for a maximum storage of 4TB. It supports three drive sizes: 250GB, 500GB, and 1TB – all 3.5-inch SATA format operating at 7,200 rpm. The drive bays can be factory-configured as hot-swapable or fixed, or they can accommodate four 32GB Solid State Drives for a total of 128GB.
