They feature simple, per-system pricing based on the number of processor sockets in each system. Sun offers Solaris Subscriptions at Basic, Standard, and Premium levels.

Solaris Subscriptions are available on a per system basis, one plan supports one system. If you have multiple systems, you need to purchase multiple plans or purchase a site-wide Solaris Everywhere plan. See all plan features
Solaris OS version coverage: Solaris Subscriptions cover all Solaris versions supported under the Solaris product life cycle. Several features of Solaris Subscriptions are available for Solaris 10 only, as noted.
Solaris OS platform coverage: Solaris Subscriptions support hundreds of non-Sun x64/x86-based systems and SPARC-based systems. Visit the BigAdmin System Administration Portal for complete list of supported platforms.
