Sun Software Support customers are entitled to download new releases of the Solaris Operating System (OS) from the Online Support Center by default. You may also purchase a media part number for physical shipment of new releases. Updates are shipped on request.

The following table lists the components of the Solaris 9 OS 9/04 media kits, and shows the support provided for these components under the SunSpectrum program and Sun Software Support services.

There are two multilingual CD media kits for both the SPARC and x86 platforms. And there is a DVD media kit that contains both the SPARC and the x86 platform software. The software contained in the DVD media kit is the same as the software contained in the CD media kits.

All Sun software is covered by the Sun Microsystems, Inc. standard software warranty support. Terms can be found at global warranty terms and conditions.
