The Sun Advisory Panel is a global community of Sun customers and
technology users that want to influence the development and continuous
improvement of Sun products and services. Panel members are invited to
participate in discussions, surveys and pilot programs based on their
experience and interests.
Members can choose to participate with Sun in many ways, including:
Online surveys: Short surveys (less than 10 minutes) and longer surveys (10-20 minutes) delivered online
Online bulletin boards: 2-3 open-ended questions posted on an online bulletin board each day for a period of 3 or 4 days
Focus groups: Moderated discussion with 4-8 participants either in-person or via Webcast/concall
1:1 In-depth interviews: approximately 30-60 minutes in length
Services Advisory Board: Quarterly 90-minute focus groups via Webcast/concall focused on Sun Services research
Sun Forums: 1-3 day in-person Sun events with large numbers of participants
Beta and early adopter programs: pilot programs for new products and services
