iWay Intelligent Adapter for i2 Technologies
Key features include:
Support for synchronous and asynchronous bi-directional
interactions between i2 applications, iWay adapters, and various
Sun Java Enterprise System products, including the Sun Java System
Application Server.
Introspects i2 business objects to capture metadata for event
or service interaction, and to create integration objects between
the i2 applications system and the outside world.
The adapter leverages i2's proprietary programming interfaces,
including the TradeMatrix and RhythmLink APIs, to perform updates
to the Active Model Warehouse (ADW) and other application databases
within the i2 Common Data Model. i2 business events, such as the
update of a Sales Forecast, are detected by the appropriate VCM
application and placed onto a message queue or communicated over
http or FTP. The adapter converts the incoming document into a SOAP
WSDL-formatted XML request document and passes it to the
appropriate application. The iWay Intelligent Adapter for i2
Technologies supports service (inbound) and event (outbound)
integration operations.
