iWay Intelligent Adapter for Oracle Applications
Key features include:
Supports synchronous and asynchronous bi-directional
interactions between Oracle applications and various Sun Java
Enterprise System products, including the Sun Java System
Application Server.
Captures metadata and creates integration objects for event and
service interactions by introspecting Oracle application interface
tables, concurrent programs, and interfaces used by Oracle
application business functions.
Transfer of Oracle application event information to and from
formatted OAGIS XML documents using Oracle-supplied iProcurement
and E-Commerce gateways.
Execution of Oracle Business Functions via formatted XML
documents using import processes and Oracle application interface
tables or XML interfaces.
The adapter for Oracle applications executes Oracle application
business functions and application logic using Oracle application
interface tables, concurrent programs, Oracle Advanced Queuing
(AQ), the iProcurement Connector, the E-Commerce Gateway, and the
XML Gateway. The adapter enables interactions with Oracle
application systems via an open interface, as well as the use of
Oracle application parameters, structures, and tables.
