entities in less developed and least developed countries and
regions. IT Services can now be provided to their citizens and
employees by taking advantage of this special licensing offer for
the Sun Java Enterprise System.
Sun is the only company to offer governments around the world a
complete network infrastructure software system that assists their
populations in bridging the technological divide.
Per citizen per year licensing is available to government entities in less developed and least developed countries and regions.
Includes Sun Software Standard Support. Premium Support can be purchased for additional price per citizen per year.
No other services or support components are included in the single price. Additional services may be purchased at additional price.

Citizen Base Count: Country population based on the United Nations' World Population Annual Report.
Provinces/States/Cities: Pricing requires licensing for the entire citizen population of the province, state, or City using government census figures and the World Population classification from United Nations' Department of Economic and Social Affair the Country in which the province, state, or city exists.
Cities or states can not host or support out-of-state/city citizens.
Software restricted for usage to support only citizens of the country, regardless of their country of residence.
Application Hosting and Outsourcing only limited rights granted.
Agencies in a country can offer services to their citizens or other agencies. May not offer Hosting or Outsourcing to non-governmental companies.
Agency licensing under the per citizen per year option counts the number of total citizens in the country or administrative region under which it falls.
Agencies must be 100% government owned.
No minimum number of citizens.
