A:

While Engineering Services assists customers from architecture and design through deployment, Licensee Services helps customers in the Technology Compatibility Kit certification process and provides ongoing Java technology support.

Customers are increasingly faced with extreme time-to-market pressures and are not able to ramp up their engineering staff to do the design and development quickly enough.
