Sun's Netra High Availability (HA) Suite provides a reliable and scalable platform on which developers and system integrators can rapidly develop and deploy highly available applications. In addition, Netra HA Suite offers customers enhanced reliability for system services, increasing overall availability. Using Netra HA Suite, customers can build cost-effective, carrier-grade HA solutions for network infrastructures, blade computing, and embedded environments.

Netra HA Suite is designed for developers, systems integrators and OEMs developing highly available solutions for network infrastructure, blade computing and embedded environments. It is designed for optimal performance as a part of an integratable hardware and software stack that includes Netra boards and systems. Netra HA Suite is complementary to Sun Cluster: it provides a HA software product which can be embedded within an OEM solution enhancing the availability of the application and its platform. While the SunPlex environment provides a service level management platform for commercial workloads Netra HA Suite is designed for custom applications with stringent HA requirements, such as those in the telecommunications environment.
