We've delivered code—lots of it—and now it's time to focus on a fresh website with Web 2.0 features that honor the new freedoms Java technology embraces.

Here's what we're working toward:

• a new, clean look
• backed by an enhanced infrastructure and backbone
• with more tools that encourage social networking and code management
• and spaces where guest editors can contribute

One idea for the site graphics is below. More are in the hopper. We're excited to think about new solutions and how contributors can be more engaged.

These new efforts take time, however, especially when we want to build a home that can evolve to support a growing, thriving community. Look for notices on java.net for updates on our progress.
