  HP OpenView Smart Plug-ins (SPIs) are fully integrated, out-of-the-box solutions that seamlessly work with HP OpenView products. They expand customer's existing HP OpenView investments by adding service specific management capabilities.

  The HP OpenView 7.x SPI for the Sun Java System Access Manager provides customers with a standard product that allows for availability, health monitoring and basic administration of Sun Java System Identity Server. The Identity Server SPI is completely integrated into the standard OpenView Operations (OVO) monitoring facility and the OVO GUI.
