Products integrated with Sun Java System Access
Manager:
- Rocket
Software LDAP Bridge
The Rocket Software LDAP Bridge v3.2 is the LDAP gateway to any
mainframe data source. It exposes security information stored in
RACF, CA-ACF2 or CA-TopSecret to LDAP clients. It can also access
any other mainframe data source, such as employee and customer
master files. It thus allows full integration with any mainframe
security data source. It enables web security and application
programs to access mainframe directory data using LDAP, providing
comprehensive, easily managed web security and data availability
for the largest corporate web access models.
This integration between Sun Java System Access Manager and
Rocket Software LDAP Bridge provides the Access Manager with the
ability to access mainframe data via the LDAPv3 protocol. Now, web
users can authenticate using their familiar
RACF/CA-ACF2/CATopSecret user-ids and passwords. This native
integration will reduce costs associated with implementation and
ongoing maintenance for any web security infrastructure.
This integration will only offload the authentication process to
the LDAP Bridge. Policy control will be managed by the Access
Manager.
How to obtain the integration code:
An integration whitepaper and code are available from Rocket
Software.
Technical requirements:
- Sun Java System Access Manager 6.1
- Sun Java System Directory Server 5.2
