This page provides the ability to select different products and versions to be downloaded. On the results page both full and patch release information will be displayed for easier downloads of the software that you request.

In the section below select which product you want to download along with version, delivery type and platforms available for that product. Once you finish your selections and then click on "Get Downloads" you will be presented with a page that has a collection of links and information for your selection. These links will then direct you to the different download locations of the files that you need and also provide links to required Operating System patches (if available), localization files (if available) and documentation.

Step 1: Select Component
These components make up the complete set of Directory Server Enterprise Edition products.
Step 2: Select Version
Versions are specific to each component.
Step 3: Select Delivery Type
Delivery Type is of either Compressed Archive (ZIP) format or Native Packages format. See Note 1 below for more details.
Step 4: Select Platform
Platforms are different depending on the Component you have selected.
 
 
Sun Directory Server Enterprise Edition (DSEE) is made up of the following components that provide a complete directory service:

Some of the Sun Directory Server Enterprise Edition components come in two delivery types, compressed archive and native packages. The compressed archive type is a tar or zip compressed bundle of the software and uses a installation method that is generic across all platforms. Native packages are specific to the platform you are installing on such as Solaris, which would be SVR4 package types or Linux which would be RPM packages. The delivery types vary between the platforms supported.
