Portlets Descriptions

Documentum Portlets:

  • Cabinets: Displays folders and their contents, and lets users navigate, check in/check out, contribute objects, and update versions.
  • Recent Files: Lets users view objects recently created/revised/checked out, and view object format and locked/checked out status.
  • Home Cabinet: Establishes default user folders and displays content objects within user folders.
  • Inbox: Provides a place where users can forward, reject and dismiss workflow tasks, and view notifications.
  • Subscriptions: Lists content and folders that the user is subscribed to (like a "my favorites" list).
  • Workflows: Displays a list of active workflows and actions that can be taken on them.
  • Browse by Category: Displays a navigable hierarchy of indexed, browsable content categories.
  • Search: Sophisticated search combining full text and content attribute criteria.

Web Publisher Portlets:

  • Web Publisher: Provides a summarized view of Web Publisher, allowing them to view information such as the number of unread tasks.
  • Submit content: Lists Web Publisher templates available to user, and a summary list of files created, published, and checked out.
  • Published content: Provides users with a list of published documents in "active" lifecycle state. Content will be grouped by category.

eRoom Portlets

  • My eRoom: Provides users a list of customizable eRooms they have been given access.
  • My Tasks: Provides a list of assigned tasks from eRoom projects.
  • My Items: Provides users a hierarchical navigation to multiple eRooms and allows them to enable viewing of the items (from the eRooms) in the portlet.
  • Program Dashboard: Provides access to program eRooms.

ECI Services Portlet provides users an ability to discover and access content from hetrogenous resources using ECI services adapters.
