SAP (Sun Microsystem)
The SAP portlet suite consists of a set of seven portlets that can be used to
connect to an SAP R/3 system. Each portlet interacts with the SAP system through
standards based web services as exposed by the R/3 web repository.
The portlets can be used as is or as a blueprint to develop custom portlets that
interact with SAP.
Portlets Descriptions
SAP Authentication Portlet - either validates SAP credentials via the Single
Sign-On (SSO) Adapter or allows the user to enter them manually.
SAP Namefinder Portlet - lets users search a personnel directory.
SAP Personal Details Portlet - displays detailed user profiles contained in
the personnel directory.
SAP Absence Records Portlet - displays details of an employee's logged
absences.
SAP Direct Reports Portlet - associates employees with their managers in the
organization's hierarchy.
SAP Customer Search Portlet - lets users search for customer records they are
authorized to access within the SAP system.
SAP Sales Order Portlet - associates orders with customers displayed in the
Customer Search Portlet.
