  • Solaris 10 OS and Solaris 10 OS with Trusted Extensions (SPARC Platform Edition)
  • Solaris 10 OS and Solaris 10 OS with Trusted Extensions (x86 Platform Edition)
  • OpenSolaris 2008.11 or later (x86)
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 (x86 32-bit and 64-bit)
  • SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 (x86 32-bit and 64-bit)

Note: SGD runs a 32-bit JVM on 64-bit OSs

Minimum Server Requirements
  • Supported operating system
  • 1.5 GB disk space + additional 300 MB during install
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 20 MB of RAM per active user on the Sun Secure Global Desktop server, in addition to above (typical usage)
  • 1 GHz processor
  • Network Interface Card (NIC)

Note: RAM and disk space requirements are in addition to what is required by the host OS
