Solaris 9 OS Upgrades:
Systems purchased after 4/01/02 from Sun and Sun authorized channels are licensed to run any current versions of Solaris (8, or 9, select one at time of purchase)







If Covered by a Sun Support Contract all upgrades to Solaris 9 are included

If Not Covered by a Sun Support Contract:

Existing systems purchased from Sun or Sun authorized resellers can upgrade to Solaris 9 by purchasing upgrade license

Certain customers may qualify to participate in the Solaris Free Binary License program. Please visit http://www.sun.com/solaris/binaries for details of the program.

If System Acquired From a Source Other Than Sun or Its Partners customer must purchase license.
