90 Day Evaluation Program for Solaris x86 OSThis new program offers a free 90 Day
Evaluation License and free Solaris 9 Operating System software
downloads to Sun customers that purchased a Sun x86 based system.
The license will allow our customers to take advantage of the great
features and technologies found in the latest release of the
Solaris 9 Operating System. The Evaluation license allows full
commercial and developer use of the Operating System for up to 90
days from initial installation. The offer is non-transferable and
not applicable to other non-Sun hardware. This 90 day evaluation
license is also included in our special evaluation media kits
provided with selected Sun x86 based products shipping today. After the evaluation period has expired, you must either cease use of the software according to the license terms, or obtain an appropriate right to use (RTU) license. Licenses can be purchased from the Sun online Store or through a Sun Sales Representative or Reseller. To purchase new licenses, the part numbers:
