Plug-ins are programs designed to integrate with the Mozilla
browser and extend its functionality in creative ways. They are
most often used to display special document types, such as rich
text files or multimedia presentations, that sometimes appear on
the web pages you're browsing. Some of the plug-ins available for
the Mozilla browser today are summarized below.
Java[tm] 2 Platform, Standard Edition (J2SE). Using
J2SE, the Mozilla browser is able to display advanced, interactive
content on the Web that has been built for the Java platform.
The Mozilla browser includes a Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition
plug-in, however, we recommend you visit Sun's J2SE site to check for the availability of updates.
Adobe Acrobat. This plug-in lets you view and print
files distributed in the popular Adobe Portable Document Format

RealPlayer. This plug-in lets you play streaming audio,
video, animations, and multimedia presentations on the web. It
supports the RealAudio and RealVideo formats as well as many other

Macromedia Flash. This plug-in lets you view interactive
multimedia content created in accordance with Macromedia's Flash
specification, a popular format for vector graphics and animation.
