Right level of Support
With Sun Software Support services, our experienced support engineers are available to help you identify and resolve technical issues with your Solaris Cluster software. In addition, you'll always have access to the latest software functionality through patches, updates and upgrades, which are included for covered software.
With two levels of support, you can choose the level of service that best fits the needs of your production system:
Support is not available for free downloads of Solaris Cluster. A fully supported cluster installation requires the purchase of a cluster license, a certified installation and a standard or premium software service plan. Certified installation requires that customers use Sun Enterprise Installation Service for the cluster deployment. If the customer chooses to do the installation themselves, then a Cluster Installation Validation service is required. Multiple licensing options are available. Solaris Cluster point product licensing offers perpetual licenses based on a per server and per agent fee. Customer may also purchase Java Availability Suite and Java Enterprise System which gives them access to all the Solaris Cluster components as well as online and telephone technical support with a single subscription and a single price, company wide.
