How the Why I Love Solaris contest works:

Fill out the entry form and tell us your story about the Solaris
Operating System using at least four (4) sentences in English. Consider the business impact of your Solaris experience as well as how the Solaris software stacked up against other operating systems within your experience.
Submit the form online by 11:59 pm PT on the last day of the month for
which you wish to enter during the contest period. During the contest
period, entries received after 11:59 pm PT on the last day of the month
will be entered into the following month's drawing, except during the
last month of the contest. Mail or facsimile submissions will not be
considered. Do not include any company confidential information or
details that may be inappropriate to share with the general public.
- If you have more than one story, you can enter multiple times each
month or during different months, but each story must be unique and
self-contained.
- Drawings will be held monthly during the contest period from the
pool of all eligible entries. Sun Microsystems will make the selection
and notify prize winners by email and/or telephone. A valid email address and phone number must be supplied in order to enter the contest.
- The contest period will run from October 31, 2005 through June 30,
2006.
- Although anyone can submit their story, you must be 18 years of
age or older and a legal resident of the country in which you reside to
enter the contest. This contest is sponsored by Sun Microsystems.
Employees of Sun Microsystems and its affiliated entities are not
