Solaris Certification and Support
- Only certified HP ProLiant servers can get HP support for Solaris. These servers have gone through rigorous testing standards that are set by the Hardware Certification Test Suite at Sun. Those HP systems listed as certified in the Hardware Compatibility List have successfully passed those tests run by HP engineering teams.
