Question

In Solaris with the CDE window system, you can telnet(1) into the computer and fire up a new dtwm(1), but that seems impossible to do in Trusted Solaris.

Answer

There is no manual way to restart dtwm in Trusted Solaris 2.5.1. However, dtwm automatically restarts if it dies. If the automatic restart doesn't happen within a minute, something besides dtwm has died, such as the X server.
