Licensing

Solstice Enterprise Manager (SEM) 6.0 usage is subject to acceptance of terms and conditions mentioned in the Software License Agreement (SLA) that is shipped with the product. The customers will have to click and accept a Software License Agreement (SLA) during the time of installation.

Separate entitlements must be purchased for Solstice Enterprise Manager (SEM) 6.0 Toolkit, Management Info. Services (MIS), and/or the TMN Q3 Interface (MPA). SEM is entitled per server.

Solstice Enterprise Manager 6.0 includes a run time license for Solstice CMIP 9.0 for use with SEM applications.

Patch

There is now a patch for Solstice CMIP 9.0 that allows for the use of Entitlement and Software License Agreement instead of FlexLM licensing. This patch is available at Sun Solve.

Once this patch is installed, the Solstice CMIP software will be licensed via Entitlement and Software License Agreement, not FlexLM, removing the need for a physical license certificate.
