The Solstice TMN/SNMP Q-Adaptor is a self-contained software product that can be easily incorporated and deployed in existing SNMP networks. Implementing the CMIP/SNMP mapping defined by the Network Management Forum, the Solstice TMN/SNMP Q-Adaptor acts as a gateway between the TMN and SNMP worlds, translating CMIP/OSI protocols to SNMP protocols and vice versa.
