OASIS Open Document Format
StarSuite documents and templates are saved in the new OASIS (Organization for the Advancement of Structured information Standards) OpenDocument format, the international standard for office software. StarSuite 8 offers XForms support, enabling higher levels of interoperability with other vendors who also support this standard. StarSuite 8 software is able to create and edit XForms based on the OpenDocument format. XForms allow you to define dependencies between form controls and calculations without programming or writing macros.
XML Input/Output Filters
The XML filter imports and exports any XML file in StarSuite. The filter uses the standardized XSL transformation templates for the XML transformation. XSL Templates are a standard of the W3C organization.
