Installing Extensions

1. Download the required extension via the download buttons below.
2. When prompted by the browser to open the extension file or save it to disk, choose to open the file with StarOffice or OpenOffice.org.
3. Once StarOffice or OpenOffice.org has been started, you will be prompted to confirm installation of the extension.
4. Click "OK" to continue installing the extension.

Sun Connector for Microsoft SharePoint Server

The Sun Connector for SharePoint Server enables OpenOffice.org to cooperate with Microsoft SharePoint Services and adds support for the ODF (OpenDocument) file format. The Extension allows users to search, browse, edit or check-in/out documents that are stored in the Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.

Sun Connector for Alfresco CMS

The Sun Connector integrates OpenOffice.org and StarOffice perfectly with the Alfresco Document management server. The user has full access to all documents stored on the Alfresco server. An easy to use and clear front end makes it easy to create, load, edit and save documents including checking in and checking out.

Sun Connector for MySQL

The Sun Connector for MySQL installs a native MySQL database driver. It is faster, seamless integrated, easier to administrate and there is no need to install and setup a JDBC or ODBC driver separately. It was never easier to use MySQL databases in StarOffice Base.

Sun PDF Import Extension (Beta)

Modify existing PDF files for which the original source files may not exist. It's the perfect solution for changing dates, numbers or small portions of text.

PDF documents are imported in Draw or Impress to preserve the layout and allow for basic editing.

Sun Wiki Publisher

Publish Wiki articles on MediaWiki servers without having to know the syntax of the MediaWiki markup language.

Just load the document and call the Extension with 'Send - MediaWiki Server'. A dialog will guide you to publish your document.

Sun Presentation Minimizer

The Sun Presentation Minimizer is used to reduce the file size of the current presentation.

It lets you compress images and remove data that you don't need, so you don't publish confidential information by mistake.

Ichitaro Document Filter

This extension allows you to load Ichitaro Word Processor documents with OpenOffice.org. Ichitaro is a word processor from the Japanese software company Justsystems. Documents created by Ichitaro releases 8/9/10 or 11 are supported which can be typically identified by the file extensions JTD or JTT.
