StarSuite Software Licensing

This is a brief summary of the licensing terms for StarSuite Software. For more details, please refer to the electronic or paper license that accompanies the product.

Each StarSuite Software license provides a single individual user the right to install and use the software on up to five computers. For instance, a user may legally install a single copy of StarSuite Software on her home desktop, on her laptop, and on her work PC. Note that these installs are for the purchaser's individual use, and not, for instance, for use by multiple co-workers sharing a single office computer. StarSuite Software licenses are perpetual - they do not expire.

StarSuite Software RTU licenses are available in a number of ways:

Purchasing the packaged software from a retailer or etailer
Obtaining StarSuite Software as part of a computer purchase
Obtaining StarSuite Software as part of a software bundle
Purchasing RTU licenses for the Enterprise Edition
Receiving StarSuite Software as part of a Linux distribution
Receiving StarSuite Software as part of a Solaris release or update
Receiving StarSuite Software for educational use

The license is included in the product via an electronic "Click and Accept" form or hardcopy (paper).
