Sun now offers the VMware vSphere 4 and VMware View product suite on Sun hardware systems with full support from Sun available. Sun offers a variety of software service plans that provide telephone and online technical support, software updates and upgrades, and self-help tools and notifications. Plans are available with varying levels of support so you get the help you need as promptly as your business needs require.
VMware and SunVIP Interop Support
SunVIP combines support expertise and enables support engineers from Sun and VMware to work collaboratively to resolve interoperability issues quickly and effectively—regardless of where these issues originate. SunVIP is available through SunSpectrum Support as a standard feature of Platinum, Gold, and Premium service plans. Customers must hold an appropriate level of support contract with Sun and a comparable contract with VMware covering the products involved with the interoperability issue.
