Sun Solution Center: Beijing, China

The Sun Solution Center (SSC) in Beijing, China is Sun's premiere showcase of Sun solutions and technologies, catering to customers, partners, and Sun representatives across China. The Center in Beijing showcases creative solutions, fuels innovation with partners, conducts proof-of-concepts (POC) and/or workshops that allows Sun customers to take advantage of an extensive collection of services that reduce risk, maximize ROI, and fasten solution deployment.

Overview

The Beijing Sun Solution Center was opened in 2000 with capacities enhanced with the transfer to the new office in Chaoyang District It provides over 100 Sun servers and storage devices to allow Sun partners and customers to test and tune demanding applications. In addition, some of the world's leading experts are on site to help assist in adapting applications.

The Sun Solution Center is designed to help Sun's customers and partners utilize the company's Internet experience and proven methodology as the basis for building and deploying individualized, best-of-breed solutions. The Center assists Sun customers with everything from brainstorming the technological options for creating an IT infrastructure, to proof-of-concept demonstrations, to actual pilot programs.

The Center can provide customers hands-on, in-person help to create architectural blueprints or guidelines for the design, development, and deployment of smart services on various platforms.
