The Sun StorageTek D240 Media Tray is a compact, scalable, and highly flexible storage solution that can be used as a boot device or for data storage, data load and data interchange, or data backup. It supports multiple mixed storage device configurations and can be configured to support one or two domains.
Drive flexibility
The Sun StorageTek D240 Media Tray supports up to four 73 GB 10000-rpm or 146 GB 10000 rpm disk drives, DVD-RW, and DAT 72 tape drives. In addition, it can accommodate a mix of storage devices, including removable hard disk, DVD-RW, and tape backup. The DVD drives include backward compatibility with CD-ROM.
