BioTeam primarily partners with Sun on efforts involving Sun Grid Engine technology. BioTeam operates the popular community blog, gridengine.info. Consultants have many years of deep experience installing, configuring, customizing and supporting Grid Engine in complex and demanding production environments. The company offers custom training classes and is the only group currently offering regular SGE training aimed at end-user audiences rather than grid administrators. In life science environments, BioTeam's deep knowledge of life science workflows and application requirements allows it to offer complete solutions for installation and integration of complex lab instruments and scientific workflows with Grid Engine running locally, or in some cases, remote utility computing clouds.
