Overview

For over 15 years Sun and CA have had a long standing partnership delivering complementary product solutions to our mutual customers to help them create, deploy and manage the most complex and cost effective business systems. This technical alignment enables CA to deliver Enterprise IT Management (EITM) solutions in support of Sun products.

All CA business units have solutions that support Sun technologies ranging from hardware to Solaris to Java to Databases. Examples include:

CA Infrastructure Management solutions support Sun virtualization technologies such as Zones and LDOM's.
CA Network and Systems Management solutions support current hardware and the Solaris Operating System.
CA Workload Management solutions support all versions of Enterprise Solaris.
CA Wily application performance solutions support all Java written applications.
CA Service Management solutions support for Solaris.
CA Security solutions support for Solaris.

Sun and CA have dedicated Alliance Managers that manage the business and technical relationship. The Alliance Managers arrange for technical briefings between respective development teams enabling quick support of one another's new solution offerings.
