Solaris 10 on VMware Infrastructure 3

Sun and VMware have recently announced that VMware Infrastructure 3 now supports the Solaris 10 Operating System running on certified x64/x86 servers. The combination of VMware virtual infrastructure software with the Solaris 10 OS, is designed to increase system utilization by up to ten times as IT organizations consolidate disparate systems onto one server. By combining VMware Infrastructure 3 system level virtualization with Sun's Solaris 10 OS, customers are able to take advantage of a breakthrough approach to virtualization via key features of Solaris 10, including Dynamic Tracing (Dtrace), Solaris Containers and Predictive Self Healing on any architecture.
