Who Can Benefit

Students who can benefit from this course are web server administrators, Internet Service Provider (ISP) staff supporting virtual hosting, technical support engineers, and professional services consultants or developers who need to know more about the Sun Java System Web Server (Web Server) platform.  

Prerequisites

To succeed fully in this course, students should be able to:

• Use the Solaris Operating System (Solaris OS) command-line utilities and text editors
• Use and configure settings for a web browser, and connect to hosts using Internet protocols, in particular Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), SSL, and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)
• Edit files created with a markup language structure, such as Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and Extensible Markup Language (XML)
