Storage Management Fundamentals with Hitachi Device Manager (HDS-457)

The Storage Management Fundamentals with Hitachi Device Manager course is a three-day, instructor-led course provides the fundamentals of Hitachi HiCommand Device Manager software and its ease of use while managing Hitachi storage systems. This course will train participants in standard workflow techniques for successfully managing storage with Device Manager. This class will include extensive lab exercises with hands-on training on Hitachi Data Systems enterprise and modular storage systems. In addition to addressing the configuration, administration, operations, and management of storage with Device Manager, a special focus will be placed on best practices. Pair Volume Operations, Command Line Interface (CLI), external storage, as well as maintenance and troubleshooting functions will be discussed. The training will be applicable for storage and system administrators.
