Hitachi Data Systems Software is a five-day, instructor-led training course that provides specific information about how to configure software utilities on the Hitachi Universal Storage Platform V and Hitachi Universal Storage Platform VM. It familiarizes the learner with the technology and terminology of the current basic operating system and key software utilities such as Hitachi Dynamic Provisioning, Hitachi Virtual Partition Manager, Hitachi ShadowImage In-system Replication, Hitachi Dynamic Link Manager, and Hitachi Universal Volume Manager. The learner will complete numerous hands-on lab activities designed to build the skills necessary to install and operated the key software utilities presented during the course. It provides an opportunity to work with UNIX and Microsoft Windows NT systems integrated with these storage systems.
