Prerequisites
To succeed fully in this course, students should have:
  • Completed: LSI-6000 - Sun StorageTek 6000 Installation and Configuration Training.
  • A basic administrative knowledge of operating systems; Windows Server 2003 will be used in the classroom.
  • Though not required, a basic understanding of Linux or Unix environments will be beneficial.
  • Hands-on experience with RAID technology, Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Fibre Channel topologies.
  • Previous field exposure to LSI storage products and technologies.
