The total class time is five days. The course is geared toward individuals requiring a rapid training curriculum to cover the necessary knowledge and skill set to properly
install, configure, support and maintain Common Array Manager (CAM) managed storage arrays. These individuals
should already have field exposure with CAM managed storage products and technologies from a post-sales perspective.

Prerequisites
To succeed fully in this course, students should have:
- Completed: LSI-6000 - Sun StorageTek 6000 Installation and Configuration Training.
- A basic administrative knowledge of operating systems; Windows Server 2003 will be used in the classroom.
- Though not required, a basic understanding of Linux or Unix environments will be beneficial.
- Hands-on experience with RAID technology, Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Fibre Channel topologies.
- Previous field exposure to LSI storage products and technologies.
