Developing Red Hat Firewall Solutions (RHS-342)
The 2.4 version of the Linux kernel, with its extended network address translation and new stateful inspection capabilities have accelerated interest in, and adoption of, Red Hat Linux as an enterprise-ready firewall solution. Red Hat's RHCE curriculum provides an introduction to these capabilities.

Prerequisites
To succeed fully in this course, students should be able to:
Participants will find RHS-333 a worthwhile complement to this class, but it is not required.
- Have completed RH-253, RH-300, or RHCE certification or have done equivalent work (required for this course)
- Already know the essential elements of how to configure the services covered, as this course will be focusing on more advanced topics from the outset

- Understand Firewall Concepts and Topologies
- Implement a stateful firewall using Red Hat Linux
