The purpose of this two day course is to provide the necessary information, skill development and practical hands-on training to enable data center personnel to operate, troubleshoot, and administer the L700e Tape library, which may contain a variety of tape drives. Approximately 50 percent of the course will involve hands-on lab experience.

  • Knowledge in tape drives (DLT 7000/8000 & SDLT, STK Model 9840/9940, and LTO vendors), external interfaces (SCSI , RS423, Token Ring, TCP/IP), and basic troubleshooting techniques.
